The Nursing Service Cross (Post-nominal letters NSC) was a decoration (medal) of the Australian Honours System. The NSC was awarded for outstanding performance of nursing duties in both operational and non-operational situations. The NSC replaced the Royal Red Cross in the Imperial honours system for recognising nursing personnel. ==Description== * The NSC is a four-stepped sterling silver cross ensigned with the Crown of St Edward.
